Derby Museums is pleased to host pupils from Year 10 and Year 12 cohorts in from schools around Derby for work experience weeks throughout the school year.

Derby Museums offers tailored work experience opportunities to excite, engage and inspire. Learn about a range of departments including our fascinating collections, front of house, marketing and more whilst working within our teams to help make Derby Museums more engaging and relevant to young people. Learn valuable new skills whilst being part of an exciting and vibrant workplace.

Derby Museums will be working directly with Educational organisations for work experience placements; we are therefore unable to accept individual requests for work experience. We encourage students and parents to communicate this directly with school careers teams, should you be interested in working at the Museums on an experience week.
