Community Partnerships
We love to work in partnership with our communities to deepen our connections and build positive and mutually beneficial relationships, ensuring that we meet community needs and interests and that our museums are socially inclusive and relevant. Previous projects and community collaborations have celebrated the rich and changing communities and culture that are unique to Derby and have included, co-produced interpretation and exhibitions and displays, collaborative events and workshops, and community led collections and historical research.
An example of one of these partnerships is local history project ‘This is Normanton’, find out all about it here: http://this-is-normanton.fifthword.co.uk/
