As a registered charity, Derby Museums relies on the generosity of all our supporters to help keep the museums and our collections fantastic and free for everyone. That’s why every Friend is important to us. With your support, we can continue to create opportunities for lifelong learning and enjoyment.

Becoming a Friend offers various perks that will enrich your experience with Derby Museums, such as discounts in all of our shops and cafés, and access to exclusive talks and coffee mornings that will help you to become part of a community of like-minded people. A Friends Membership also makes a great present for someone who enjoys visiting Derby Museums or loves arts, culture and heritage!

How to join:

• Direct debit – this is the ideal way as it’s less administration for us and less trouble for you! To set up a direct debit, follow any of the portals below to your desired membership and click on the direct debit link.
• Our online shop. Please bear in mind that, if you are renewing a membership via our online shop, there won’t be a specific option for renewals. Rather, you simply buy another membership as if it were the first time.
• Alternatively, you can sign up in-person by picking up a leaflet and filling in the form at any of our museum shops

Please note that unfortunately our purchase and renewal system for memberships is not automated. Therefore whilst you will receive an immediate confirmation from Shopify (if purchasing through the online shop) or Gocardless (if setting up a direct debit). It may take up to two weeks to receive confirmation from our fundraising team. If you need the membership sooner please email info@derbymuseums.org and we will try our best to accommodate the request.
